Peak6 or Flow Traders

Hi everyone,

I am curious if anyone had any insights or opinions about these two firms (both for NYC offices) and which of the two you think would be a better place to start a career in trading. I understand that Peak6 pretty much only trades options, while Flow trades almost everything but options, but I was curious of other's advice for someone who does not necessarily have a specific product preference yet.

It seems like both places have great cultures and office environments. Other than the products, it seems like a big differentiator is their training programs. Flow's is only 4 months, while Peak6 can be up to 2 years. I am not too concerned about comp, but more the outlook of the firms, the likely experience someone will receive as a new trader, and whether one will likely provide for a better career progression than the other.

Any and all advice/insights would be incredibly helpful. Thank you!
