Prime Brokerage Super Day - Any Tips?
Hi all,
I was recently invited to a super day at a top BB bank within their Prime Brokerage group. The position is for the 2018 Summer Analyst program, and I was wondering if anyone has any advice as to what to expect/how to prepare?
learn all you can about securities lending/financing. if you have time learn about BASEL III too

Know the hedge fund industry and things like what's happened to their AUM over the last couple of years. Know how a PB makes their money (financing client positions).
is it for FT or SA i heard they dont recruit FT, only pull from their SA class.

Did anyone get a phone interview recently and did they send a confirmation email stating a specific time that they will call?
I had a phone interview on friday, was informed on tuesday that I was accepted to super day, which is this thursday. Intensely studying...

I couldnt get a sense for the back office aspect that everyone in investment banking seems so adamant about. If by back office, you mean working less than 100 hours a week, than yes i think it was back office. But capital introductions definitely isn't. And I couldn't tell how much back office work is done in client service, or if teams had some people doing financing/leverage and some doing more back office type administrative clearing.

i missed a phone call from them an hour ago, just called back but she had already left the office. Anyone get any calls about travel receipts or background checks?
