Python vs C++

I have an impression that Python becomes the language everyone demands. 10 years ago I think C++ was the king! So in today's world, if I were to take my coding to another level, what language should I work on?

Many tech interviews I have gone through had asked about my Python background and how strong it is.

I think you will have an easier time learning Python, too.

No pain no game.

Depends on the goal. If you want to analyze data Python will do, it has many visualization, stats and ml libraries. If you want to build strategy execution parts C++ is the way to go, also serious trading platforms like Trading Technologies provide only C++ api's.

You killed the Greece spread goes up, spread goes down, from Wall Street they all play like a freak, Goldman Sachs 'o beat.
