Renege on SA offer?

Comes down to:

1. How was the offer sourced? Was it a cold app, light networking, heavy pushing?

2. Sure it may be a better asset class, but let’s be real- are you prestige chasing here? You’ll probably find the same or similar opportunity at your current shop.

3. What’s the real upside in reneging? I can see an argument for reneging a S&T for IB, but this would be questionable IMO.

4. Go through with the SA- if you truly have a bad experience simply recruit again for next yr or ft.
