Resources to learn ETF MM/Arbitrage?

Hello,

Last fall, I got to the trader round of Flow Traders, but was unfortunately rejected because of my lack of financial knowledge regarding ETF's, arbitrage, hedging, market-making etc. There were questions regarding hypothetical situation (aliens invading Earth), and questions regarding leveraged ETF's. I have solid mathematical knowledge, but my financial knowledge is severely lacking and I would like to change that.

What resources/websites/books would give me a decent knowledge regarding the above subject matter? I would like to try again for the role of Graduate Trader at Flow Traders this fall, and don't want to get rejected again during the trader round because of something as silly as not knowing why to invest in a leveraged ETF for the long-run or what happens to a stock split on the ex-dividend date. Also, I understand that the final round consists of a bunch of hedging exercises....any info on that?

Any resources, advices, or tips would be highly appreciated, thanks!

An ETF is literally just a bucket of stuff dude. If SUMPRODUCT(weights, underlying prices) != ETF price then you might have an arb there.

Re: the "silly" comment you seem to be under the impression that those q's were somehow a test of information recall, which is wrong. (1+r)^n * (1-r)^n  doesn't require financial knowledge, you just went on tilt because it wasn't explicitly structured as a math question.
