First year analyst comp is generally lower for S&T than IBD, mainly because it takes a while before you start getting responsibility in S&T and cant really add any sort of value until several months in (depending on the desk). However there are stories of first year analyst comp for an S&Ter being upwards of 100k GBP so it depends on the individual.
for business school though does it matter is sales trading seen as less than ibd
