Shell Commercial Trading Analyst

The successful applicant will work on the trading floor and support a Products Trading Desk. This position gives an individual an opportunity to interact with Products Regional Team Leaders, Physical Traders, Operators, Pricing Analysts, and Settlements and Accounting

Ensure accurate costs vs. accruals monthly and highlight any differential Enter Trades daily Maintain minimal tradebook to finance gap by ensuring accurate accruals exist in tradebook Handle all queries between contracts group and traders and liaise as needed with Interbook/Re-grade/Loss-Gain contract entry Establish new counterparties and ensure they are properly set up with Shell Trading Resolve Profit and Loss (P&L) and exposure issues as needed by trade desk Ensure due diligence is performed prior to adding provisional costs when requested by settlements and other business functions Assist on special projects
