First, read Liar's poker.
Second, especially if you have interest in derivatives, learn about the main pricing models, and the various risks associated with derivatives. Read the Hull book.
Third, if you can't back it up, don't put it on your resume.
Good advice. I got killed on a volatilty question (forgot it was the standard deviation not the variance) and on a stochastic processes question (shouldn't have put it on my resume since i took the course a while back)
The volatility one, the bigger problem is if you listed a derivative class, or derivs experience and didn't know some basic stuff about the Black Scholes model, its inputs etc.
hehe yep, didn't have trouble with the B-S params though.

I put knowledge of C++ on my resume, knowing a little about it (1 simester, only remember 1/2 of it or 3/4). Will employers think that I meant I have a quant level of knowledge?
