BB junior IB recruiting starts in a month and onwards so networking starts there. There is a really good updated post for firms that sponsor visa so I’d just search for that. Just to clarify, you are a sophmore looking to leverage your incoming summer internship right?
Yes, I've seen the recently updated list of BB firms that sponsor visas for the 2025 Summer Analyst program. I am trying to leverage my upcoming sophomore internship in this process.
I’d start just really familiarizing yourself with the market through a few newsletter or the such, and then start technical prepping through an online guide. Look up a networking guide too

Since it’s pre-internship, your sophomore internship desk doesn’t matter that much. Network with whatever teams interest you & have a strong narrative for why you want to work in IB instead of S&T before you even start the internship.
