S&T Clarification

I am using this thread to clarify S&T information that has been inconsistent throughout WSO.

For S&T at the BB I will be working at starting July 1st, I am currently reading the bonus clause in my contract right now and I quote "...A discretionary incentive bonus, if any, will be paid to you provided that you are still employed at the time which bonuses are paid, typically in the summer." I am not sure why people are being paid stubs at other banks if it is a two year program...

Also, when the two year S&T program is over, how many people are kept on as an associate. I know with IBD you need to go for an MBA after your first two years, but for S&T you do not. If anyone can comment on the analyst retention rate in S&T I would appreciate it

Here is another section from my contract for the S&T analyst program to answer your question...

"Your expected start date is July 1st, 2009 and the analyst program ends July 1, 2011. Your continued employment is contingent, among other things, upon your overall satisfactory performance during the training program, including passing all exams administered during this time"

I am just curious as to how many analysts they actually retain
