Top commodities trading house (Vitol / Glencore / Trafigura) trader role vs Harvard MBA
As per topic, I got accepted to Harvard Business School, at the same time received trader offer from one of the top trading houses. It is junior level of trader role hence expect average total comp for first two year will be 300-500k USD per year. Of course if I don't deliver will be laid off anytime. My background is junior trading role in one of the majors. My post MBA goal is expanding to investment or prop trading but broader asset classes and strategies. I just obtained my CFA charter this year as well.
Any comments, advice, insights welcome! Cheers.

What's your prior experience? And where did those numbers come from? Your own estimate or HR? Shops can give a % of pnl but I've not heard of guaranteed numbers for junior traders like that.

I would only take offer if its Vitol
