Top Environmental Trading Desks

Hello monkeys. I've been a trader for a few years now, primarily in physical oil and associated paper markets.

I'm interested in a new realm- environmental markets. Specifically emissions. The most relevant exposure in my career has been RINs and LCFS on the refined products side. I haven't touched CCAs, RGGIs, or voluntary offset markets. I would love to gain a better understanding of who the heavy hitters are. There isn't a direct linkage in my mind to asset-backed trading here. RECs seemingly would fit that, but carbon isn't as clear to me. Would appreciate some thoughts, otherwise, I'll just add a bunch of CCA brokers on ICEchat this week and see what I can learn.

Who do you all consider kings in the environmental markets?

Not directly in environmental but do gas power so sit pretty close. Feel free to correct me:

Heard a lot about Trafigura. Glencore and Vitol have been beefing up their desk too.

Banks loves using these desk to show investors how green they are too. Macquarie also has some appointments in recent years globally and has an environmental trading team in Houston largely trading in CA's and WA's markets.
