Trading: Certifications/Degree Questions

Hey Monkeys,

I had a quick question regarding certifications/degrees in Trading at a BB with a lot of mixed opinions. Currently I am a senior graduating in May 2021 slated to start a FT job in equity trading at a BB in July. I am on the path to take my CFA Level 1 in May 2021 but I am confused on whether or not I should also take my GMAT if I do want to pursue my MBA down the road?

How relevant is getting an MBA in trading if I want to lateral over to a L/S Hedge Fund or possibly a MM or flow shop? Also, for possibly a management position down the road if I play my cards right, is MBA a necessity to join C-Suite from a trading background?
