No real preference among these 3 three.

 

Without considering the specific desk in question, this is essentially a no-brainer.

How anyone thinks a location is supposedly "inferior" is beyond me - if you're good enough, you'd get the chance to make a lateral switch in positions/locations over time anyway. Think about this in the context over the span of a career, not the next 12-24 months.

Would you rather join a firm in NY whose existence (at least, in terms of the entities they'd keep going forward) is immense question than a firm that's going places the world over?

More importantly, however, I'd say the main focus/worry at this stage would be to land a job where you get someone who is willing to show you the ropes/teach you well - that would be far more important than anything...
