Hey Monkeys, we thought it would be fun to run a stock market challenge this summer for the WSO community so we've partnered up with Wall Street Survivor for a two month virtual stock market investing challenge. If you’re a stock market whiz or you have a knack for trading/investing, put your talents to the test in this FREE contest with BIG prizes (the top prize is valued at $800).
3 steps to participate:
Step 1: Create a free account ASAP so you're ready for the contest to start June 1st. (If you miss the start date you can still sign up after the start date). To create the free account, visit wallstreetsurvivor.com/register.
Step 2: Once you've signed up for an account, you can join the Wall Street Oasis League.
Step 3: Build/manage your portfolio. From the main menu, select Portfolio and Add stocks to your portfolio. Complete Courses and use the Investing Ideas feature to learn about the stock market and how to build and manage your portfolio.
Prizes that WSO will reward:
- Grand prize = WSO's IB Prep Pack, Private Equity Prep Pack AND our new Hedge Fund Prep Pack ($800 value)
- 2nd place = IB Prep Pack ($200 value)
- 3rd-10th place = Free WSO T-shirt
Additional Info:
- The official dates are July 1, 2016 to September 1, 2016
- The contest is free to enter at any time and is open to anyone worldwide
- You receive $100k in “free digital currency” (no cash value) to invest how you best see fit
- As you trade stocks you can watch the leader board to see how your portfolio is doing vs the other competitors
- After 2 months we see whose virtual portfolio performed best and award the prizes (the top 10 finishers qualify for prizes)
- Winners will be contacted the week of September 4th and prizes will be awarded
