Advice for 2025 grad recruiting for growth equity this late in the game??
Hey guys - I am a senior at a semi-target school with a decent GPA, started and sold a company my freshmen - sophomore year, interned at a great growth equity shop last summer (think Silversmith / Sixth Street / Lead Edge / JMI), and have been running a well-performing fundless sponsorship my senior year with two deals closed (we get in on competitive growth stage deals and send them to a few family offices).
I have been struggling in recruiting for positions for 2025. Have been through multiple, 6-8+ interviews for firms that were not even hiring in the first place, and have just been keeping up a line of contact with many firms, waiting to be at the right place right time.
My question is: are there any firms hiring this late in the game and any advice for recruiting this late?
Same spot man, good luck.
It's a tough game, right back at ya
