Best tech news / knowledge source?
Please don't gatekeep and share the best tech news source. I find BG2 to be great, Patel's SemiAnalysis great for Semis, SSI for software. All pretty standard stuff. Apart from actually talking to VCs which is not readily available as an IB analyst, hoping to hear some of your favorite sources for tech knowledge and news.
The Information
pricy, curious what its merits are compared to other news sources / tech news sources. considering the subscription though.
More often than not gets scoops and exclusives before Bloomberg, WSJ, TechCrunch etc
sorry for the stupid question - but what is BG2 and SSI?
bg2 is bill gurley brad gersner podcast
ssi is software stack investing blog
All-in was a decently casual listen before Sacks left. Alas
any other good substacks / news sources? and is the information worth it?
i mean all-in was never a great source of tech-specific news. it's still pretty awesome imo but it's just a weekly general overview that's chatty and fun but not a specific/investor podcast by any means. no?
Don't underrate literally just reading axios pro rata, strictlyvc, and term sheet every day to keep up with deal announcements. Takes 10 min, you can do it while you're eating breakfast, and keeps you up to date on what's getting funded
