Bioengineering minor for PE/VC?

Hi there!

I just got into Cornell's Dyson school for undergrad, where I'm majoring in Applied Economics and Management. I would like to do IB for 2 years then end up in PE or VC. I'm still a little conflicted over whether I should I do a minor in Bioengineering Minor, given how recruiters seem to place so much importance on minute differences in GPA. I read that firms also don't care about minors. I'm concerned that I might a get a few B's in one of the course, but would the Biology background and minor degree give me enough credibility in PE or VC to outweigh the costs? I feel like that a good amount of domain expertise and making myself the "go-to guy" for biotech would help me through the leap from associate to VP in PE
