Growth Equity Interview: Case Study Framework
Put short, are there any useful books (investing, strategy, business) that will directly help me understand how to develop an investment framework? Specifically to growth investing? Am I even thinking about this approach correctly?
I am a first-year analyst and have just been cranking through decks without any time to step back and think about investing, and am terrified of case studies because if someone asks me what does a good investment look like, or is this is a good investment, idk what I'd say. I have some metrics to regurgitate, but I need a fundamental framework. Did my research, came across some books like Competition Demystified and other strategy books, but not sure if this is exactly what I'm looking for, but correct me if im wrong here. Would really appreciate any resources people who have gone through the recruiting process for growth equity before found helpful or anyone who was in a similar position to me. Thanks!
