Growth Equity Salary Progression
Hi everyone, I'm a junior in college that received an offer from a pretty reputable growth equity firm (~$5bn AUM). I'm excited for the role, but wanted to know more about what the salary progression looks like. I am a CS student and worked in big tech (FAANG) last summer as an engineer, and I had some debate about the difference in salary progression between the 2 career paths.
I am more interested in growth, but just want some more clarity to be certain. It seems like the 1st year analyst salary at the firm I received an offer from will be around $200k + phantom equity. I'm a year away from FT, but this seems pretty good. How does this change 5 or 10 years down the line?

Looks like Lead Edge which pays pretty well, in line with UMM PE so you can expect ~300K in your associate years. Comp aside, its a sick shop which I heard was raising another big fund so would take it and run with.
