Top venture growth (ICONIQ, BOND, IVP, CapG, etc.) is 350k+ for first year associate. Crossover (Dragoneer, Greenoaks) similar / if not higher.
Earlier stage will cap out at ~250k for an associate at the high end, usually closer to 200k. Seen these sorts of numbers from NEA, Accel, Emergence, Redpoint, Index - those types of places.
These numbers are higher than I've heard -- could someone else validate? Not doubting you at all - just surprised.
Also curious if you know what WLB is like in late stage venture / growth
For ICONIQ, is the VC side different from the broader family office side? Do all investment roles across ICONIQ pay like this?
Yes, growth side is separate from family office - not sure what comp looks like for family office. Above number is for growth team

I'm interning at a venture fund in Germany rn, base for analysts is €65000 but they get carry as wellHours are purely 9-5, very chill with a team trip every 3 months
