Incoming H/S/W MBA Candidate(International) - Looking for VC Intern

Hi everyone

I'm an incoming MBA candidate at H/S/W (International candidate). Prior experience (All Asia) - 3 Years Quant Trading in BB + 1 year Op Role in Startups + 2 Years in Tier I VC, one of the successful junior investment professionals with respect to the number of deal closures and NAV markup. The long-term goal is to join a mid to growth stage PEVC fund and possibly do it through a summer intern in a fund too. Any recommendations, resources that I could use to navigate my way through, is duly appreciated.

Thanks Val

........ Pick a region and google the top VC firms there. Next, add employees from LinkedIn. Next, talk to them.

Big bodacious goals will get us to another galaxy.

I have started doing this already but are the funds usually open to hiring internationals (given the limited resources at the firms and 'oversupply'of local talent? What are the other career options post-MBA that lead up to a buy-side VC/PE role - TMT Banking/TMT Consulting/Product Management in high growth tech firm. If that is the case, am I better placed in getting a relevant intern in the above-mentioned sectors than fishing around for VCPE intern?

(My apology for the barrage of questions)

Sorry for wandering off topic but am just curious, what do you mean by quant trading at BB and why the jump to startup/VC world rather than to quant buyside role at some HF?
