I am looking for VC Firms in an around New York, Silicon Valley or Boston with offices in New York and willing to invest in technology companies. Are there some free online databases where I can get such a list? The pain is that if I go for plain google search, I would have to check each and every Silicon Valley VC's website in order to find if they have a New York/ New Jersey office. If any of you can provide such a list, that would be great!! Thanks!

if you have or know someone who has access, try capitalIQ i think they have a pretty exhaustive database of PEVC funds
^ I wish I had access to Capital IQ. Trying to search online the hard way. BTW the WSO database that 'Commuter' is talking about also has a good list.
