Would like to start a career in trading, found an internship in risk... should I take the series exams now?

Hi,

I was wondering if it would be appropriate to take the series exams now( that are relevant for trading at BB)? or should I wait until and if I get a full time offer in trading.

I thought have one or two series exams would make me more attractive to employers. I won't be able to look for an internship next year, because I'm graduating next semester... so I will go straight for full time...

What do you think?

Thanks.

Bump,

I'm currently doing a summer internship at a BB but not in a group that requires it's full time workers to have the Series 7.

How do I go about getting the sponsorship? Is it even possible in this case?

If not, what should I do? I have a feeling it can add value when I start applying for full time

Whgm45Dude it costs them $$$ to sponsor you, if you don't need it they won't help you get it.

Didn't know that, thought I was responsible for the expenses... tnx
