Can I move from WM to IB at a BB?
Hi all,
I just signed a '23 offer with as a wealth management summer analyst at a BB. I was wondering if you can let me know if I have any chance to move to IB at that firm for FT?

Currently doing a WM internship at MS this summer, I applied last year in October 2021 and didn't hear back until January for interviews
No. Especially not in this environment where plenty of firms have put on hiring freezes / lateral recruitment extinguished. Can lateral after a year or two. Speaking from experience here.
No shot, congrats on GS tho
very difficult and they wont treat you as a better candidate just because you work at the firm
