-Job detail-

It really is going to depend on what office you work at. Your experience in Chicago and New York will be vastly different than satellite offices (Chicago suburbs, Scottsdale, AZ, Detroit Suburbs, etc). But at the core, you work closely with a team of investment advisors, relationship managers and credit specialists who serve high net worth (>2MM in liquid new worth) individuals. The relationship managers (bankers) main job is to get new clients, while the investment and credit specialists handle the more complex situations in their respective areas of expertise. The whole goal of the 3 year analyst program is to learn the business from the ground floor so that in 5-7 years you will have your own book of business (i.e.; handle the client relationships by yourself). I can get more detailed on any points if you like.,..

-Salary-

Again, depends on what office, but base is on par with BB IBs. The bonus will vary depending on (in this order): your region's performance, your local team's performance, and YOUR own performance. Bonus will not be anything close to BB IBs, but for the top performers it is a nice chunk of change.
