JP Private Bank or GS PWM - Associate

I am transitioning from being at a traditional WM shop with a commission grid based on revenue and I have offers from JP PB and GS PWM for an associate level position with each firm.

JP PB has a significantly higher compensation at the associate level than GS but with he Salary + Bonus model in perpetuity, how much less is the upside at JP than GS, if you were to make it to the MD level in revenue production? GS is much more transparent in their comp model given the commission grid once you finish the associate program.
