Wealth Management Application Caps

I'm applying to WM roles for summer 2026. Just started my first one for BoA and saw a note that said I can only apply to eight roles for summer 2026.

Is this an industry wide number or just for BoA roles specifically? I've never heard of this before, so figured I'd check here.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, the application cap of eight roles for summer 2026 appears to be specific to Bank of America (BoA). There is no indication in the WSO dataset that this is an industry-wide standard. Different firms may have their own policies regarding the number of applications a candidate can submit, so it’s always a good idea to check the specific guidelines for each firm you’re applying to.
