2019 Infra PE Analyst Base Salary

I have a final interview coming up with a MM Infra PE fund in NYC. I understand there are WSO salary reports, although I'm not sure how accurate those really are since the infra PE figures seem to be all over the place.

I also understand there have been a number of posts about infra PE which mention compensation but the salaries mentioned in those posts refer to associate positions.

Would appreciate if anyone can provide any insight on 2019 base salaries & bonus figures in infra PE at the analyst level (and associate - for the others out there trying to get in infra PE at the associate level). Thanks!

I work for a Project Investor (Primary Greenfield Infrastructure Investments, opposed to a buyout fund). Typically salaries in the UK start around 45/50 (GBP) for grad level Analyst, rising to around 65/70k. Bonus is in the region of 20-50%.

The Buyout funds rarely hire fresh Analysts, people usually join after a couple years in IBD or in a top Advisory house. But usually an analyst hear could be on anything from 65-100k base and 20-60% bonus according to my friends in industry & headhunters.

Again, this is for London & all figures are in GBP.

In NY for the traditional post IB route people are offered between 125k - 150k base with the expectation, sometimes written out other-times voiced over, of 100% bonus. Essentially the same at generalist PE (minus Apollo). I don't really know lesser known funds, but BX, KKR, Stonepeak, BlackRock, GIP, Carlyle, etc. this is pretty standard.

Curious to know what your salary ended up being, if you don't mind sharing?
