2022 Off-cycle Internships

I'm currently in my final year at a semi-target in the UK. I'm going into a Msc in Finance, graduating in 2022 and have a Corporate Banking internship lined up this summer at an MM. I was wondering if I should aim for Investment Banking off-cycle internships that start in June 2022 (after I finish my masters) or just apply for full-time roles.

-Does anyone know the general recruiting timeline for off-cycles esp. ones that start in June?

-Is it more/less competitive that SA and FT roles?

-General percentage of conversions to FT after completing an off-cycle?

-How is Corporate Banking (CIB) viewed when applying for m&a/coverage groups?

You can go for graduate program and off cycle in some countries also (French off cycle are only for master students for instance)

But I’d definitely recommend going for grad programs and FT

Yeah basically ignore what the recruitment page says. The vast majority of banks will accept Masters students for summer internships. Nearly all of my cohort pursued them as well. You could verify yourself on alumni of the top business schools and see a lot of them getting summer roles.
