ACRE Accelerator Financial Modeling

I am a Freshmen in Undergrad and I am looking to complete the Adventures in CRE Accelerator Financial Modeling course this Summer. Although, I have only taken a couple Finance Courses and have yet taken an Accounting Course. Is this knowledge crucial in order to complete this course? Thanks for your help!

Nope, no "pre-req's" for the ACRE offering.

Spencer and Michael both do a really good job of making the learning curve manageable.

There are other courses (through other providers) that you absolutely have to have a foundation to get the most out of, but ACRE is the best resource I've found so far that doesn't punish someone for not having a foundation.

That's not to say that the course is remedial, either - they just chose to explain concepts more simply/straightforward than some of the other offerings do.

No problem - giving you a time frame is tough because learning is really individual/personal.

On one end of the spectrum, you could get through everything in a single (grueling) weekend if you for some reason had to.

On the other end, there's enough content there to chew on for a couple of months if you really dedicate yourself to mastering all of the nuances they teach you.

I imagine a lot of the terminology will take you some time to get comfortable with given that you're starting from a base of zero, too.

Is there a reason you're focused on/concerned about the timing?
