Back from Miami: Reflections

Got back from a conference in Miami earlier today. Pretty fucking awesome trip.

It was my first time there actually. The weather was perfect throughout: sunny and in the 70's. The conference was very well put-together with tons of good speakers and great networking opportunities. And the BB that was sponsoring it paid for non-stop food and drinks during the entire conference.

On a more important note, last night, we were hanging out at hour hotel lobby bar, which is actually considered a Miami hotspot. Without exaggerating, I have never seen so many hotties in one sitting in my entire life. There was literally no girl below a 7, and my neck is still hurting from all the double, triple, heck quadruple, takeaways.

Seeing so many hot women really clarified some things for me. Here are some of my thoughts that came to my mind.

  1. I NEVER want to get married. It was amusing seeing married men at the bar lusting after these young girls while their wives were standing next to them. Marriage really is for men who don't have better options.
  2. I deeply regret not fucking more girls when i was in my 20's. I think I would be happier and secure in myself if I had been more sexually active.
  3. Prestige and money just don't mean as much if you're not leveraging them to bang gorgeous women. Sure, HBS and working at an elite firm are great in of themselves, but if you worked that hard to accumulate those prestige points but is married to or dating a 5, that really sucks monkey's balls.

Great to see you in high spirits Brady4MVP! I hope the offers / opportunities start rolling in.

My take on the points you posted:

  1. Everyone gets old... You don't want to be alone or with someone who only cares about your money/status in your latter years. Being married and having a family is great as you'll find a lot of joy in your shared memories / experiences.

  2. You can't bring back the past, but you can still have you fair share now.

  3. I like to think of Prestige and Money as by-products, not worthwhile goals within themselves. If you're pursuing prestige / money as a goal or a stepping stone to something else, you're less likely to achieve either (it will certainly make the journey more painful). All you need to get a beautiful girl is the right attitude and to not have any major negative issues.

I definitely need to go to Miami again...

lol I hope you're lucky enough to one day find a person that can change your mind, or maybe you aren't able to change her mind?

If you were not at the Fontaine Bleau then you seriously missed out. Not even HBS could get you into LIV

I was indeed at the fontainebleau hotel. We went to liv on thursday night; the BB that was sponsoring the conference paid for bottles. On friday night, we hung out at the hotel bar, which is a hotspot in itself.
