Does anyone have insight into the superday process at regional offices? I had a soph superday in NYC a year back but got dinged, now I'm looking at an accelerated process superday on the west coast soon and I'd like to know what I could expect.

Ok yeah, shit thing to ask but lets be honest this site is about providing info to help people break into IB. So if you're a superstar that aced the hirevue, sharing the questions isn't going to hurt your chances, you already got the superday. And hate to say it, but if you went in having not prepped and shit the bed, your chances are over (for BAML) and sharing will not harm you either. So to whoever out there has done it and is confident in their fate, be a homie to the rest of us and spill the questions

Haha you'd be surprised, doing in person interviews is actually much easier and more natural than getting a question prompt on a computer screen and talking to a camera for 2 min, so I actually think I'll be fine for superday (plus I know technicals like the back of my hand). Also, theres for sure people that DO know the hirevue and I will have to compete the likes of them and their pre prepped answers, so I'll take every advantage I can get rn

Recruiter for my school said that the Sophomore timeline will be running later than the regular SA timeline, and that the process will move forward in September.

Don't know about anyone else but my apps all say "application received" and not "under review" (I applied IB New York, IB LatAm New York, and GWIM New York), so I think that for those divisions at least nothing has moved yet unless you were accelerated/diversity or part of some other special process

Anyone do the hirevue yet? Not asking for questions, just curious as to how its structured. When I did JPM a couple weeks ago it was 4 roughly 2 min questions with 30 seconds to prep and 1 retry per question...I'm wondering if its similar for BAML? Particularly, are you allowed a retry or is it one attempt only?

Network with bankers higher than an analyst
Not meant to be an offense, but just because you "networked" doesn't mean that they will give you an offer. Talking to analysts isn't simply checking a box next to each person you talk to. They have personally told me that when talking they judge candidates based on their personality, intelligence of questions, and gauge their interests in the bank and its groups. I obviously have no clue what your conversations were like, but if they were 15 minutes and you ran through the questions on guides to informational interviews, odds are they may have picked the kid who seemed genuinely interested and talked for 25-35 minutes per convo. Hope this helps, again not meant to attack you just offering one possible explanation because from what you said you are more than qualified

I know at BAML analysts have little to no pull in regards to recruitment.
I spoke to one analyst at baml and got a hirevue, but spoke to 7 analysts and a vp in recruiting at GS and didn't get one there..seems like a crapshoot

Last year I got my HireVue in November and did my Superday in January for the sophomore program. I think they are prioritizing SA interviews right now.
A recruiter from my target school says Hirevue for sophomores coming out late July/August so coming really soon
I just met with an MD (one kind of removed from the recruiting process FYI) and he mentioned that HireVues are going to be given out on a school by school basis. I'm a non-target, so keep that in mind, but he did say that I can expect one as a few analysts and himself shot my resume through - just wanted to give you all an update on the process. I submitted on July 1, so I guess there is still hope for those of us who have not gotten one yet
