Barclays Increases Base Pay for Analysts
Looks like Analysts in NYK get a bump from 90k to 105k with Analysts in other offices getting a similar raise of ~17% in base pay.

Does this only apply to coverage groups or do product groups like structured finance and pubfin get raises as well?
Bump. Those groups are placed in the Markets division, however, are still considered IB. Interesting to see if they would get raises.

OP here, LDN Analysts at all levels confirmed +10k base, AVPs +15k base (all GBP). I.e AVP1 would start on GBP 105k base

Someone said 15K increase across all jurisdictions. What does that mean exactly?

Undetermined at this point. We'll see here shortly if theses raises are coming out of bonuses. I really could see it going either way. But, I think there would be a lot of rumbling if bonuses are cut.

This just cements what many on this forum have started to realize, which is that Barclays is probably the best BB for junior level experience besides GS/MS/(probably) JPM:

Consumer, Tech, Power, NatRes. Likely Healthcare, Industrials. Not sure about FIG, CMG. For M&A btw.
Best paying except for jpm, Rothschild, Piper, guggenheim, Baird, hw, and probably more to come lol

If you break down deal volume by product and sector, the numbers look more sober. It's true that capital markets as skyrocketed but m+a has barely moved YoY. There are groups where HALF (yea 50 fucking %) of folks have quit. The salary bump was a direct response to JPM - prior to that, Barclays was late to everything (no COVID bonuses, no meal policies for a year, no guidelines for junior WLB, etc.)
Don't be fooled by this corporate marketing move. This entire bank is about to turn over once the analyst bonuses hit.

Not all groups within banking. Seems im stuck in a stepchild role where a 10k raise is deemed acceptable........

Not sure about DCM as a whole but my team within dcm only got 10k
