BB Investment banking background check issue if fired from previous internship?

I recently received an SA offer at a BB. I got fired from my internship this summer (stupid, foolish drinking error), but my previous employer said they weren't interested in revealing any of the details of my termination and would simply reveal the days that I was employed there. My question now is when I do a background check, will it be revealed and will this lead to my offer getting rescinded? I'm on good terms with my manager and could POSSIBLY ask him to speak on behalf of the work I did and he would hopefully leave out my termination conditions, but I would have to ask him to do a favor and I'm not sure if he would be willing to just leave that out. Could I just list other recent employment opportunities in terms of references or will they ask for a complete list of say the last 5 years? I know a lot of people have asked this before on here, but I've been freaking out and just want to make sure I don't lose my offer.

No way to know till it actually happens. Use another employer as a reference if you can. They'll probably still call to verify that you worked for them though.

I don't want to specify what to protect my anonymity but it was something REALLY stupid, and I didn't harm anyone else or anything like that.

Do you think the bank will care that I got fired though IF they find out? Does this ever happen and people are still fine with their next internship? I ask because I'm pretty sure I have to list the previous boss as a reference because that was my last job and what will happen if they call him and it's revealed to them that I was let go? Will they come talk to me about it or just rescind my offer or will they not care? Or is this something that they can't find out at all (just know start and end dates)?
