BlackRock PAG Comp
I am thinking about taking a SA position for BlackRock PAG. I am just wondering, let's say i get an offer at the end of the summer, what should i expect in terms of Sign-On + Base + Year End? How does compensation progress from there? I heard PAG around 6am - 9pm, do you get those dinner/ride home type of perks in PAG? Thanks

Just out of curiosity, when did you hear back from PAG?? I had my superday on the 19th and still no word...im assuming that's a no go for me...

PAG pays around 80 all in.
first years come in at around 6 30. leaves around 7-8 on a good day and 9-10 on a bad day.
60k +10k sign on. the class of 2009 (started in sept 09) got a stub of 10k for like 4 months of work. not bad.
but comp doesnt climb up very far...
it's another one of those glorified ops positions, almost 15% of 2009 analyst pool has quit...
but where does that 15% go?
Fortunately those 15% actually had FO internships at BBs/equivalent, and used their contacts to jump out.
second year PAG-ers dont come in til 8am...
oh and first year PAG-ers go in on sunday too so risk reports can be generated successfully on monday morning. if you are lucky you get in at 1pm and get out at 3-4pm. if you are unlucky and system breaks down/you get a bunch of weird error msgs, you may have to stay til 8-9pm...
why the hell did they go from BB FO to BlackRock PAG in first place?
not everyone gets desired FT offers from BB FO internships...
PAG ppl get dinner at work (https://www.americatogo.com/Default.asp) and cab back every night almost...as long as you work past 7 i think. Cab (to and from office) on weekends.
oh untilted, it seems like you know a lot about blackrock. Do you know, given the hours, do they offer dinner/cab and stuff?
