Do you know if they send this interview to everyone? Don't think I'm that competitive.
Hi!! I'm not involved in the selection of this group but I do know that it's ~30 each year and being Blackstone they probably got hundreds of applications and made a huge cut. While I don't have much info on it, I'm sure it's not sent out to everyone and if you got it, they obviously saw something in you. I would just say to try the absolute best you can and if it doesn't work, you at least learned something from it and improved from direct exposure to know that PE could even be in the realm of possibility. You would have tried the best you can because I know many people who wouldn't even dare to apply. If you go into these situations with low expectations and put this app in a larger perspective, it'll usually work out and if not, something better will come out of it. Best of luck and pls be confident in yourself :))
