Citi Hong Kong IBD

Hi guys,

Just wanna start a thread discussing HK IBD and specifically Citi.

I know Citi is not the highest ranked bank on the street, but I am just curious about their groups based in HK.

It seems to me that they have been hiring a lot recently, including Brian McCullough for FIG (http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/03/18/citi-mcc...) and Wei Wei Zhao for China Team (http://www.asiamoney.com/Article/2792541/Citi-nabs...).
Also, regarding people move in 2010, please see the link below, which you may find interesting. (http://blogs.wsj.com/exchange/2011/01/28/interacti...)
Any opinion is welcomed. Thanks!

Not meaning to thread-jack here, but was wondering if you could tell me if most banks have TMT groups in HK. If so, are they typically more tech or more media/telecom?

Anyway, I wrote a thread about it a few days ago but never got a response:
