Consulting FT Recruitment
At a MBB target. At an info session, I remember Bain saying they have hired through economic troughs in the past. Do people anticipate these firms looking to take typical class sizes this coming Fall?

Hey Intern in Other, what a lonely thread. I'm here since nobody responded ...so maybe one of these discussions will help:
More suggestions...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
I spoke with several associates at Bain specifically. they anticipate hiring for a Fall 2021 to begin in July for resume and cover letter applications with interviews in August and early September. Slightly delayed from their usual timeline, but fully anticipate to hire according to my contacts (Canadian office).
Isn't that the usual timeline - or even earlier? At least for target schools, OCR tends to begin much later than Aug/early Sept. Although this might be differences between Canada and the US.
according to my contacts, it differs by firm. KPMG and PwC have a late Aug/Sept timeline for resume screening and interviews. However, Bain has has specified July, although, it may be late July. I'm most concerned about the temporary hiring freeze implemented by both Deloitte and Oliver Wyman.
we are a target for Bain and our process kicks off in aug/sept -- but usually goes within a week time frame
As far as I know, MBBs will not change their recruiting process beyond conducting more interviews online if needed and acting differently around internships during the lock-down. Timeline might change a little, and my company is expecting the incoming targets to be a bit lower than in the past - think ~15%.
If I’m trying to go from IB SA to FT MBB, would the firms be willing to fast-track the interview process for me? Asking because there are usually strict deadlines to responding to the FT offer for IB
