There is a good amount of info about this group on other LA banking threads. Copying an A2's recent reply:
"CSLA has (historically) been a strong office with great deal flow. Very technical and lots of modeling at the analyst level. Great PE exits based on former LA analysts whom I know."
To answer your question, my guess is it would be most comparable to CS NY's FSG group. Seems like a good office. Hope this helps.
