Hey - am on the buy-side and want to deepen my accounting knowledge. Ie purpose is to become a better investor and not to collect titles. Aware that the CFA® takes a lot of preparation and covers other (less relevant) aspects. Does anyone have alternative ideas / experiences?
Most will probably say that "on the job" training is more than sufficient from an accounting perspective, but as far as official qualifications go I guess there's not much more than the CFA or an outright accounting qualification like ACA/ACCA/CA/CPA etc.
