Do they test for marijuana anymore? (CA)
To my understanding NY banks no longer drug test for marijuana (what do they test for then if at all?). Does this standard also apply in California? Particularly for FT starting next summer. If not, when can I expect the testing process to begin?
Also if it’s different bank by bank, I’m particularly interested in the BB’s new drug testing policies.

Commercial bank I interned at in SF didn’t drug test. Did full backgchecks and fingerprint scans but no drug test

Also on another note, I think that drug use is a lot less in the banking world then you would actually think.
Got drug tested a month or two before internship start date. Dicks only gave us 72 hours to get it done during a pandemic...

I had a drug test before I started at JPM. This is standard in corporate America: get tested before you start work and then never again.
That never again part sounds great to me.
Most people I know in banking don't do drugs or they tried it out and didn't want to do it again (which I think is like most people). The stereotype of everyone doing cocaine I think is jaded and I'd say maybe like 5-10 people in my cohort out of 150 do weed. It's not as common as this site says it is
