EB SA 2022
hey monkeys,
incoming soph at a nontarget, when should I start cold-emailing EB's for 2022 SA positions know their timeline is very accelerated. Sorry if this is super premature as 2021 recruiting is not even close to being done.

January - Feb. If you are diversity, earlier than that cuz they have programs for diversity recruiting.
thank you, not a diveristy so would october-november be too early
Yea
See, one is getting your name out early. But, you also don't want to speak so much in advance that by the time actual recruiting comes along they have forgotten who you are. So, aim for 2 months before the start of the process so they can still remember you, so that they know stuff about the process and also because it gives you enough time to be introduced to others.
makes sense thank you!
Is this the same for networking or just cold emailing when asking directly about an internship? I've heard we should start networking ~4 months in advance.
Go to the on-campus info sessions in early spring
no OCR at my school
most EB's prob have never heard of my school haha
Moelis did the apps for their diversity program for NYC in January so email them in early December
Who are you emailing? I go to a semi overall but a non target for EBs. There are only a few alum and they aren't involved in recruiting.
email anybody anybody who's a nontarget
Well we're not a traditional non target. We place well at most BBs, just shit at EBs.
