Evercore Restructuring Q’s

Hi All,

Just wanted to learn more about Evercore’s Restructuring practice. Not a lot of information on WSO that’s recent and wanted to learn more about comp, work, rankings, exit opportunities and the like. Thanks!

Comp is near the top of the street, in the same range as Evercore M&A, PJT, etc. Historically Evercore's franchise has been considered to be a notch below the likes of Lazard and PJT, but at the analyst level the group is very strong and has some bright guys.

Hey this is very insightful. Could you share how you were able to interview with the Rx group and what the interview was like/how you prepped? I saw from your older posts you go to a target school. I'm recently becoming interested in Rx but non-target background.

Hey guys,

I am wondering what the work is like in EVR rx, particularly at the analyst level. What is the typical day like (or typical day in rx ib in general)? Considering they tend to be more debtor focused, how does the work compare to more creditor focused shops? How does the modeling compare to m&a? How much time is allocated towards reading credit docs? Do the rx guys work with the m&a folks? Is it possible to lateral from rx into m&a? Any information would be much appreciated! Thanks!
