Just a generic post really but did anyone in here work for Lehman before it shut?

Can you talk about some of your experiences, do you miss it, where are your coworkers now, etc?

I was still young when it occurred but it would be interesting to hear.

This post is also applicable to those that worked at other financial institutions that ceased operations during the same period.

Lol Lehman went under in 2008, so anyone who worked there would be at least ~35 years old today. It would definitely be interesting to have a Q&A from a former Lehman employee, but unfortunately, there are maybe 5 active users on WSO who are older than 30

Haha to follow up on my boss that's a good way to put it. I have no idea how hes manage to stay in banking for so long especially after being at notoriously brutal and sharp-elbowed firms.

Thanks Dick. What are you up to these days? You thought about joining Steve at BX or like running for nyc mayor? Not sure what you want to do but think you could be helpful to the industry and/or the city if you want

My old boss was head of Lehman QR. Hearing him talk about how dick and his minions whipped it until the wheels fell off was awesome.
