Financial Technology Partners 2nd Round
Hi guys - I have a second round phone interview with an associate from FTP, based in California. I was wondering 1) What their reputation is on the street, and 2) what is their second round technical interview like?

- Investment Banking is BrokenI just left IB and went entrepreneurship way, so this is a bit of a rant post and a throwaway account, but felt like I need to share. - An Honest reflection from my first Summer Analyst role: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly (mainly bad and ugly)I come from a target West Coast school. I say target because being on the West Coast, there are only three name-brand schools you can land a job on at an i-bank on the West Coast. Those name brands from my POV are Stanford, Berkeley, and USC. I go to one of the first two. Hats off to the Moelis...

SA or FT? 2nd round was pretty technical and focus on why FTP/banking
Very technical with lots of follow up questions. Make sure you actually understand concepts rather than simply memorize formulas.

This is sage advice for any interview.
This is for SA.
Bump, interested as well. @markiv199 how was the first round? I've got a phone call with a VP tomorrow.

Does FT Partners pay their SA?

Have you heard back from the superday?
How many rounds did you have before the superday? ANd how was it?
Can anyone give me some insight on the online assessment. I am going for full time so probably not in competition with most of yall. Thanks for the help.
It's a personality test (similar to Myers Briggs), and then an IQ type of test with shapes and stuff. Pretty strange overall.
Saw these guys post that they were looking for an experienced analyst & was looking into the opportunity. Looks like a lot of the posts on them are pretty dated (2013-14).
Any recent opinions/thoughts? Seems like they do well very well in their space but analysts get absolutely worked to the bone even more so than other places. Is that still true?
Use the search function & you'll see some recent thoughts on them
all thoughts here seem to be more focused on when interviews/how interviews are for them rather than actually speaking to the actual analyst experience hence why i'm asking
