Getting into an Investment Bank in India.

I graduated with my Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance, in 2015. I am a CFA level 3 candidate awaiting my level 3 exam results , which is scheduled to be out on 9th august,2016. I am really looking forward to get into Investment Banking. I have some knowledge about trading as I have been managing my own portfolio since 3 years now. Other than that I do not have any work experience. How do I make it to Investment Banks? Besides, where can I learn financial modeling ? Would appreciate answers that really help.

Well, investment banks do not really care if you have CFA or not. In order of importance: 1. Reputation of your school 2. GPA and relevant work experience 3. Financial Knowledge

Also, the more removed you are from school, the harder it is to break into banking. Try to do a graduate degree to reposition yourself. Also get a few internships.
