Think about the qualities that make a good pwm professional. TBH, it's not about being a portfolio manager and more about keeping the client investing and mitigating losses / crazy investment sells at the literal most retarded times. I.e. 2008-2009 lows

When did you hear back/anyone else get this invite? I completed my HireVue about three weeks ago as well and haven't heard anything since.
I just heard back this morning for GS IMD SA in NY. Was trying to find some more insight on the superday process on this thread. Are the questions much more fit/behavioral based? From what I read in a 2010 post, it's mostly about general market trends, your resume, and behaviorals. Can anyone confirm this?
Also curious to know if there would be some sort of pitch requirement; for example, recommending a mutual fund or something like that.

Same here, come from a complete no name school but just got notified that I have a superday this Thursday. Anything you can share about what they asked you? Was it mostly behavioral or were there curveballs?

I have a video interview for my IMD superday because I'm currently studying abroad. I would love some insight on what kind of questions to be prepared for. Should I have a stock pitch ready and know lots of technicals/brain teasers or is it mostly behavioral?

GS usually calls a few hours after for candidates they are very sure about. But don't give up hope, it could take a week or two or more! Best of luck, you can pm me if you have more questions.

All I heard back was an offer to come back in for more interviews this week. Nothing about offers though.
I had my super day, then more interviews and a final round one, awating decision.. been two weeks now.
I emailed one of my interviewers, he said that the process takes some time and not to worry about it
same thing my guy said to me yesterday. I think we wil get offers :) did you make it past the final round? I'm a lateral so it could be diff for me and my situation is for Full time

People who got invited to super-day... How long did you wait from the time you completed the hireview Interview to being contacted for the superday? I completed mine in late october, and wanted a broad idea of the estimated timeline.

Goldman IMD Superday- Hearing back/Positive or negative experience? (Originally Posted: 11/15/2017)
I completed a superday yesterday for Goldman IMD (FT). I was given a schedule of interviews in the morning and was told by HR that "you may be asked to complete additional conversations in the afternoon" which I would assume means the people they like are asked to come back. I spoke with an analyst and associate in two separate 1-on-1 interviews, and they focused on situational questions/my thoughts on the market. I was able to connect with them personally easily which made the interviews very casual, and I thought I had strong strong answers to their questions- I wouldn't change anything I said to them. However, my name was called around lunch and was told by HR that I was free to leave. I was told by some of the candidates who were asked to come back in the afternoon that they were given a case study to complete over the next week or so.
Is this a bad sign not being asked to come back? This was yesterday- when should I expect an update from Goldman regarding an offer or rejection?
It depends on what you're doing in PWM. If you are doing Markets Solutions in New York... then it is basically the same as securities Sales & Trading which is for sure better than a boutique M&A. The ISG is also a highly skilled group with people that have quant backgrounds. However, if it is a wealth advisor position than it is up for debate.

Just wondering if anyone had insight into what the process is like. Had interviews with them Wed. 12/3, asked me to stay overnight, had more interviews with specific divisions next day. Was told "We'll be in contact", but haven't heard anything, and I didn't receive any type of debriefing by a recruiter on my way out.
Know GS can take a long time to get back, but I also had GIR the same day and heard back two days later that I have a video interview this week sometime. So is this necessarily a sign or should I continue in my holding pattern?
(Thought interviews went pretty well if that means anything).

I had my super day with GS on December 4th. I still have not heard anything back, I know a kid who interviewed the same day as me and got a rejection email. Since I have yet to hear anything back is it fair to assume I have been waitlisted?

Probably safe to assume you've been waitlisted at best, rejected at worst.
I attended a superday for IMD SLC in November and got an offer a few days later. Maybe reach out to your HR contact and see if they can give you an update?
I haven't been very impressed with GS HR through out my recruiting process, wouldn't surprise me if they never follow up with you.
