Goldman Sachs Residential Mortgage Asset Managment (x-post AM forum)
Just recieved a superday for Goldman RMAM--anyone know much about this group? Part of RMD but I'm not sure of how this group actually functions; glassdoor says they run due diligence on the RMBS pools for the Securities team, so a BO position but I'm not entirely sure. Anyone know?

Realize most of the discussion on this thread so far has been aimed at summer analyst roles, but has anyone heard back, regarding a full-time role, yet? In any of the groups within RMD? Attended the "super day" back on October 7th and still nothing (today is the two week mark).

I attended the RMAM superday that day too. Haven't heard back yet, hopefully soon.
Assuming no one has heard anything yet for FT? I emailed HR on Monday but never heard back (this was the first time I reached out - besides my thank you note, following the interview).

Damn. HR never even responded to my email from Monday. Imagine I will have the same fate at this point though
Finally heard back from HR. Their input: "If you haven't heard back by now, they have most likely already pursued other candidates." Shoot... sorry to everyone else who also never got any word back at the two-week mark

You might wanna go to the trading forum and look for the structured products post. Its all there, including what structured products shops are top of the street (it unfortunately isnt but its GS)

no its not back office. The finance teams are in charge of structuring mortgage securities. You really should look at the structured finance posts.

Find anything out about it yet? I just got reached out to by GS for the same thing. Currently in a similar role at a pretty big mortgage loan originator. Heard comp is pretty good (70ish) but that the team is awful with a lot of turnover...
