Got fined for jumping turnstiles. Worried about BG check.

OK, so I got a ticket from a cop this weekend for the jumping the turnstiles in Brooklyn. I had a pretty wild night out and just jumped over the turnstile without even trying to pay, even though I had a unlimited Metrocard. I don't know what was a cop doing in a subway station at 2 am in the morning on a weekend, but anyway, he saw me and gave me a ticket. I tried to reason with him telling him that I had a unlimited card and it would not have made a difference, but he gave me the ticket anyway. I don't think it helped that I was really drunk. Thankfully I did not jump into the tracks.

Question"

I just got an internship offer at a MM Bank in NYC, and I will have to fill out their background check forms. DO I have to disclose this and will I be fucked if they find out?

Answer the question honestly. If it's have you ever been arrested, the answer is no. If it's have you ever been charged with anything besides minor traffic violations, the answer is yes.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO VOLUNTEER EXTRA INFORMATION. This reminds me of the time one of my quiet drunk friends was out drinking with his loud, terrible drunk friends and got stopped by the police.

(Exasperated police officer, after 15 minutes of drunken confusion, crying, and asking if their parents had to find out) "OK, I need to ask you guys a question." "Hiccup, what officer?" "Are there any outstanding warrants for your arrest? We're going to check for APBs." "I drove around the crossing gate on the railroad tracks a few months ago." "I hit a speed bump and broke the suspension on my dad's porsche!" "I showed up to school drunk, threw up all over the floor, and ran out before any teachers saw me!" "GROANNNN! WHERE DO THESE DRUNK KIDS COME FROM?"

Thanks for your answer. So, I will have to answer the questions accordingly. But, if I do disclose it, it should not cause me too much trouble, correct?

bears1208You are FUCKED. Sorry, bro.

Really, what makes you say that?

The fact that you don't have enough common sense to realize that a ticket for jumping turnstiles is a non-issue because if it was IB would have 12 employees across the entire industry.

You're in the clear, just make sure to pay the ticket. Don't be stupid again. If you must get drunk, do so close to where you sleep and stay off the radar, you have too much to lose.

melvvvarthis is a good way of arbing your cheapness into joblessness.

I buy weekly metrocards. I was stupid, not cheap.
